Unity 3 released!

Unity 3 has been released! This is really great news for us developers becouse it will allow us to acces latest updated engine with new features. I have been waiting for version 3 to be released but actually i didnt expect to be so soon.

This is good becouse it gives better thrust to console deployment but on other hand in future will defenetly bring expensive engine and i am sure it will become less indie frendly once those big companies are going to kick in. The good thing is that probably nothing bad will happen until we finish this game.

we can put to use the cool cloth effect provided now in the engine!!

But honestly speaking I was expecting a bit more out of the new engine!!!
may be something more cooler than it is right now!!!

Yes we will use cloth physix on some models. I have been playing arround with it but i havent had luck with getting it worked. For this one i will need to find tutorial. However great thing with Unity is that you can basicly do new features by yourself even without guidlines and tutorials, which you could never do in UDK for example.
