Project software (engine) has been choosen!

We will be using Shiva engine for project development, besides all other 3rd party applications. Shiva engine is great tool, with latest AAA engine features.

Engine supports and includes all high-end shaders such as blur, normal mapping, specular, ocean shader...
Another great thing for this project is that engine has built in path editor, which would ease our production of tracks (roads) for game.
Engine supports DAE format, which will be imported from Autodesk 3ds max 2009 or 2010 or possibly Autodesk Maya.

Although I am familiar with the ShiVa Engine, my skills in importing/exporting models and textures are not yet up to par.
But I will do my best!
